Information for existing NEM participants considering ATAP

If you're currently participating in NEM, you can switch to Solar ATAP. Here's what you need to know:

Switching Process:

  • You must terminate your existing NEM contract first
  • Apply for Solar ATAP through SEDA's eATAP system
  • The remaining contract period from your NEM agreement can transfer to your new ATAP contract
  • Your existing solar system can be used (subject to inspection)

Consider Before Switching:

  • Compare the credit rates between your current NEM tier and ATAP
  • Consider remaining contract duration under NEM
  • Evaluate whether 100% MD capacity (ATAP) vs 75% MD (NEM) matters for your situation
  • Assess whether monthly settlement (ATAP) vs 24-month carry-forward (NEM) affects you
